Senior Engineer : Mining Engineering Consultant with Tailings experience
We are seeking a Senior level Mining Consultant Engineer with experience in tailings management for our Vancouver office.
This role is with a well respected international and multidisciplinary Engineering Consultant Firm offering a broad base of services to the mining industry.
The IDEAL CANDIDATE will have:
10 – 15 + years of experience
Experience in mining engineering consulting
Experience in tailings management, waste dump, site characterization, heap leach, environmental services, permitting, geotechnical engineering, EIA’s, EIS’s, baseline studies, and more.
Excellent Project Management skills
Foreign language skills : Spanish or Portuguese, perhaps French. English required.
Experience managing and mentoring junior level staff
Excellent communications skills, computer skills and writing skills
Desire and ability to assist in marketing and business development efforts
