Seeking a talented Senior NEPA / FERC Licensing Specialist & Project Manager for Northern California.
This is a fabulous opportunity for an environmental professional who has a background in hydropower licensing, compliance regulations and processes who would like to work with an international environmental firm of leading experts in the water resource, energy, environmental sciences, and related professional areas.
This is a role that offers the ability to work both independently and with the support of a strong firm and an established office. Great projects allow the successful candidate to “hit the ground running” and a highly respected firm name allow for confidence in building business in the area.

The ideal candidate will have:
- BS or MS in the environmental sciences or closely related field
- 9+ years of experience in FERC hydropower licensing, FERC compliance regulations, and FERC processes
- 9+ years of experience water resources, and hydroelectric projects
- 9+ years of experience in NEPA
- Strategic planning experience
- Project management experience
- Budget experience from planning through preparation and monitoring
- Business development ability from planning initiatives to signing on new business with new and existing clients
- Outstanding communications skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent client management skills
- Proposal writing expertise
- Ability to successfully run and facilitate public meetings
- Work well in a team and individually
- Computer skills, Internet research skills, Microsoft Office skills
- Valid
US - Legal
US - Willingness to do some travel
