Dynamic Highly Successful Engineering Consultant firm with strong North American and International presence and excellent positioning seeks a Senior Level Engineer with a background in Civil / Mining Engineering or related. This position will be located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

The Role:

  • Consulting Civil / Mining / Environmental Engineer consultant tasks
  • Lead the business unit
  • Develop new business
  • Meet with existing and future clients
  • Perform engineering technical tasks
  • Write proposals, evaluations, etc..
  • Manage and mentor staff

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in Consultant Civil / Mining / Environmental Engineering
  • Knowledge of the North American market
  • Experience in heap leach pad tailings disposal system design and mine waste management a big plus
  • Experience in water resources a plus
  • Experience in proposal writing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written communications skills
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience in management & mentorship for the higher levels
  • Great attitude
  • Self-starter
  • Desire to be a leader & a key player
  • BS or higher in mining engineering or closely related field (i.e.: civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, etc…)
  • Valid Passport or ability to obtain immediately
  • Valid driver license in Canada or ability to obtain immediately
  • right to work in Canada
